Our alpaca stud has relocated to Armidale on the New England Tablelands of NSW. This region was chosen by us because of its suitability to the wool growing industry. We specialise in breeding fine, densely fleeced white or black huacaya alpacas. The herd is continually growing and we now have 40 alpacas. Our plan in 2004 was to build a herd of breeding females by originally purchasing top Australian and Peruvian genetics. Throughout the past four years we have mated our females to top stud males, by doing this we have continually produced show quality alpacas. In 2008 we have purchased half share in Canchones Celedonio. A stud male that was chosen for his density, and fleece characterisitics. His fleece has been tested by Jim Watts (SRS Alpacas). His first cria are now on the ground. He is producing cria with good temperament and conformation, they have very crimpy and lustrous fleece. Contact us about female packages for sale. Pets and wethers available at most times of the year. We offer ongoing service to our clients. Visitors welcome by appointment. |
