Hilldale Park Alpacas is owned and managed by Barry Hambrook and Ann Harker. We are both primary school teachers and fell in love with alpacas at the Sydney Easter show in 2004. We researched the industry and made a decision to invest in alpacas. Our first alpacas were purchased after visiting studs in Qld, Victoria and South Australia. Our herd is made up of females with top Australian genetics. In 2005 we began showing our animals at the Queensland shows and since have received many ribbons including—Best White, Junior Champion, Reserve Champion and a selection of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placings. We are now further improving our herd by breeding for density, character and crimp using our SRS tested stud male. |
